The minister noted that the Azerbaijani Embassies were established in Israel and Albania, adding that Azerbaijan also appointed ambassadors to the Vatican, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time.

“This year has been significant in terms of expanding Azerbaijan's representation in the countries throughout the world. The number of diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan abroad has reached 89,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference on the results of 2022.
